Weather Vanes

The kids had a great time making and testing their weather vanes...

Pumpkin Carving

All the first grade classes came together to have fun with their parents carving pumpkins. They also sang some Halloween "carols" to entertain the parents.
Thank you Mrs. Baginski, Mrs. Wells, and Mrs. Faddis for arranging our special night!

Halloween

The kids all looked so cute in their costumes!!! They had a wonderful time at the party and got more candy and goodies than they could handle!

A Day at Westin Red Barn

The kids had a wonderful time with Farmer Trish!
She showed them how the geese stay together to protect themselves.







The goats were a highlight, they tried to eat Farmer Trish.


Lots of hens and one very large rooster were very entertaining. The turkey was a loud guy!! The kids got to see hens sitting on eggs and saw that they were different colors too.



Each child got to take home their very own pie pumpkin, if they are asking you to make pumpkin pie, you can blame Farmer Trish!!


They got to hear stories of how the Pilgrams survived the winters.


The bus ride out there was full of excitement and energy!
